10.24kWh LiFePO4 Home Battery for Solar, Backup, and Off-Grid Power

The PLP4.1-HX02U is a low-voltage (51.2V class) LiFePO4 storage battery designed for residential energy storage. Pair it with a compatible hybrid inverter for solar self-consumption and reliable backup power during outages.

What this battery system is built to do

Solar Storage
  • Store excess PV energy during the day and use it at night
  • Reduce reliance on the grid (or generator) depending on your system
  • Works best when paired with a compatible hybrid inverter
Backup Power
  • Keep critical loads powered during outages (runtime depends on load)
  • Modular expansion: add more batteries to increase runtime
  • LiFePO4 chemistry for long cycle life and stability
Expandable Banks
  • Scale from 10.24kWh up to larger banks with parallel units
  • Common “step” options: 5kWh class and 16kWh class
  • Use proper mounts, cables, and monitoring hardware for clean installs

How to size your battery bank (simple method)

Step 1 — Loads

List what must stay on during an outage (fridge, lights, router, garage door, medical devices, etc.). Write the wattage for each.

Step 2 — Runtime

Estimate how many hours you want. Example: 600W average for 8 hours = 4,800Wh (4.8kWh).

Step 3 — Modules

One PLP4.1-HX02U is 10.24kWh. Add batteries in parallel to increase total kWh. Your inverter and wiring design determine the final bank configuration.

Visual guide: capacity scaling concept (not a wiring diagram)

Example scaling 1 unit ≈ 10.24kWh 2 units ≈ 20.48kWh 4 units ≈ 40.96kWh Up to 16 units (model listing) ≈ 81.92kWh
This is an educational scaling visual only. Final system sizing depends on inverter limits, allowable parallel count, DC protection, cable lengths, and local electrical code.

Recommended inverter pairing (Split-Phase Hybrid)

If you want a straightforward path for a split-phase off-grid/backup setup, we recommend this inverter model. For other supported brands, use the compatibility PDF list.

RPE test reports (capacity and discharge curves)

Testing is a major selling point. Below are sample RPE test PDFs showing the report format (capacity Ah, energy Wh, voltage and current vs time). If you have PLP4.1-HX02U-specific tests, upload them and replace these links.

FAQ

This battery is listed as a 10.24kWh LiFePO4 home storage battery. Actual delivered energy depends on inverter settings, temperature, and system design.
Yes. For this model, the product listing commonly references up to 16 units in parallel (up to 81.92kWh total). Final limits depend on inverter compatibility, wiring, protection devices, and BMS addressing.
We recommend the split-phase hybrid inverter linked on this page for a straightforward system path, and we also provide a compatible inverter PDF list for other models. Always confirm the exact inverter model and protocol before commissioning.
Yes. We can provide RPE test PDFs showing capacity (Ah), energy (Wh), and voltage/current curves. This page includes sample report links to show the report format.
Email Sales@rpe-na.com with your loads, solar size, target runtime, and whether you need split-phase or single-phase.
