Important Information for Lithium-Ion Battery Systems

Suggested Use for All Lithium-Ion Based Battery Systems

Welcome to Rechargeable Power Energy! We are committed to providing high-quality battery solutions. To ensure safety and optimal performance, please follow these guidelines for the use of our lithium-ion battery systems.

Safety and Usage Guidelines

  1. Technical Knowledge Requirement:

    • The end user must possess the technical knowledge necessary to charge and discharge lithium-ion batteries before attempting to create lithium-ion battery packs.
  2. Charging and Discharging:

    • Lithium-ion batteries may explode if charged or discharged improperly. It is crucial to follow the proper procedures and use appropriate equipment when handling these batteries.
    • Always use a charger designed for lithium-ion batteries. Incorrect chargers can cause overcharging or overheating, leading to potential hazards.
  3. Protection IC (PCB):

    • For loose cells, it is mandatory to use a protection IC (PCB) to prevent overcharging and over-discharging. This helps to maintain the safety and longevity of the battery and its pack.
    • The PCB ensures that each cell within the battery pack remains balanced, avoiding scenarios that can lead to malfunction or damage.
  4. Handling and Storage:

    • Store lithium-ion batteries in a cool, dry place away from flammable materials.
    • Avoid physical damage to the batteries. Do not drop, puncture, or expose them to extreme temperatures.
    • Always transport batteries in a secure manner to prevent short circuits or physical damage.

Liability Disclaimer

Rechargeable Power Energy (RPE) is not liable for any misuse of our lithium-ion batteries due to the application of any other brand of PCB. Proper usage and adherence to the guidelines provided are the responsibility of the end user.

Warning

  • Lithium-ion batteries may explode if charged or discharged improperly. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and use the recommended protection IC (PCB) to ensure safe operation.
  • Improper handling, charging, or discharging of lithium-ion batteries can lead to serious injury, property damage, or fire.
