About Tycorun 12 Volt 50Ah Lithium Deep Cycle Battery
High-current discharge of lithium batteries may be the direction of future research. For lithium batteries, we can’t just limit ourselves to energy storage, but more importantly, they can support high current discharge. Astronaut’s 12V 50Ah lithium battery supports 50A discharge, which can support the use of most low-power loads. Charging with a current of 10A allows the battery to be fully charged in just 5 hours. When we take a break at night, we connect the power supply to charge, and when we wake up the next day, the battery will be fully charged and continue to serve us. Compared with lead-acid batteries, the use environment of lithium batteries is more relaxed. Of course, we can also use a higher current 50A charge according to the situation, and the battery can be fully charged in 1 hour, but this will damage the battery.
 Compared with lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries can provide greater energy density, which is unmatched by lead-acid batteries. Energy density refers to the amount of energy released per unit weight. The energy density of LiFePO4 lithium battery reaches 260wh/g, which means that for the same weight of lithium battery and lead-acid battery, the electric energy released by lead-acid battery is only 1/5 of that of lithium battery. 5.What battery do I need for my RV or Camper Van?
The industry standard house battery size used in most RVs, Campers, and #VanLife builds is the 12v 100Ah battery. This is a drop in replacement for AGM and most lead acid batteries. If you are charging off your engine’s alternator we recommend a Victron DC-DC smart charger.
